About Doodledash
Hi I'm Jenny Hennah, and I started Doodledash in 2018. I have a huge love for dogs and I am a proud owner of 4 Cockapoos (Rolo, Poo, Prinny & Rea).
In 2014 I got my first dog and this led to me following my passion and getting my recognised qualifications with the British Institute of Pet Dog Trainers. I am passionate about reward-based and force-free dog training which is enjoyed by owners and dogs alike.
Rolo and I became the first dog & handler team ever in the UK to pass the 'Do as I do' exam in 2018. I have also shown my dogs in dog shows as well as training dogs to appear in Theatre Productions & Pantomimes as well as demos, school fetes and teaching children safety around dogs.
I enjoy further learning and keeping my skills & training up to date with the latest modern techniques. Some of my other qualifications include:

Services
PRE PUPPY VISITS
I offer pre-puppy visits to prepare owners for welcoming a puppy into their family. This can be helping prospective owners to choose the right breed and breeder, equipment, setting up a schedule & routine and puppy proofing the house
NEW PUPPY/DOG
Helping dogs to settle into their new environments, getting them into a good routine, toilet training, socialisation and desensitisation plans, basic training, food advice and canine enrichment.
1-2-1 TROUBLESHOOTING
Helping owners resolve any issues with their dog, to lead to a more happy and harmonious home. I will visit you in your home and do a full in-depth assessment providing ongoing support, guidance and behaviour modification.
DOG WALKING/COMFORT BREAKS
Either individual dog walks or as part of a small group to give dogs exercise and socialisation while owners are away or at work. I can also visit your home and let the dog out for comfort breaks, exercise enrichment and games, which is ideal for reactive or in-season dogs.
DOG TRAINING CLASSES
I am part of the Kennel Club Good Citizen scheme so classes follow puppy foundation: Bronze, Silver & Gold. The classes cover a variety of activities to help promote good behaviour, socialisation, fun agility and self control including food manners, basic obedience and recall. Please see our timetable section to see the different indoor & outdoor classes on offer throughout the week.
ASSISTANCE DOG TRAINING
I am an DTC Assistance Dog Specialist which helps people to train their own pet dogs to do tasks to enable them to live a more independent and confident life.

Jenny has been brilliant at helping us train our nervous little puppy. She has given our puppy and us confidence and is very approachable and helpful in all aspects of training and dog care. Her classes are fun with clear definitions of how dogs understand instructions and the dogs thoroughly enjoy the training. We first met Jenny when she did a one to one for us at our house. Our little puppy was born during Covid and was very nervous as hadn't had the chance to socialise. We then progressed to joning one of Jenny's classes. Jenny has been amazing at helping us with our almost 9 month old Cockerpoo. She is very patient, knowledgeable and so passionate. She has helped with lead walking as our puppy liked to pull a lot on lead and walking on lead wasn't great, but with Jenny's help it's a much better experience.
